Overview

Opera Solutions provide Big Data Analytics to Fortune 500 clients looking to gain operational insight from the signals generated by the constant flow of transactional and demographic data, with a more real-time and actionable outcome than ever before. About to announce an $84 million investment from some of the biggest names in capital, Opera Solutions wanted to update their online presence – and quick.

Wiretree jumped at the opportunity to collaborate again with their skilled and hard working marketing team on a rebranding effort and updating the website to match. In a wild and wooly short 4 week timeline, the entire website was redesigned, rewritten, and relaunched in time for their big announcement. We developed the site to be crisp, clean, and more mobile-friendly than the previous version.

Congratulations to the company! And if you have an interest in Big Data predictive analytics with iPad tablet, mobile, and desktop access – tell them we sent you!

Results

With great media coverage (executed flawlessly by Opera’s marketing team) from the likes of TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and GigaOM, the website measured a 500% increase in visitors, and an astounding 1500% increase in mobile visits.

Overview

Our Atlanta favorites, The Weather Channel, chose Wiretree to help redesign and redefine their Advertiser Sales Media Kit site. We are big fans, having worked on the first weather.com website back in 1996, and being loaded up with TWC apps on our Palms, iPhones, and iPads.

Built for prospective advertisers and media buyers, the TWCMediaKit.com site needed a fresh new look to keep up with their constantly advancing brand image and innovative new advertising capabilities. We took fragments and design direction from their emerging brand campaigns, then designed a clean and clear site that is easy to navigate and fosters discovery of all the multichannel ad products they offer.

With over 1,000,000 monthly visitors, the immense volume of traffic pretty much sells itself, but the wizards in the ad department can provide advertisers with enough incredible audience targeting and weather-based triggering of their customized ads to suit any marketer’s fantasies.

If you are shopping for receptive eyeballs, turn to The Weather Channel to be your rainmakers!

Overview

Smart Earth Technologies has partnered with Wiretree to deliver the Total Water Enterprise Platform to midsize cities and municipalities across the nation. The platform provides wireless water meters, valves, and various pressure sensors with embedded radio transmitters, connecting devices out in the field (aka your house!) back to HQ via a Zigbee-based mesh network.

Whew, sounds impressive, huh? We thought so too – so we jumped at the chance to build the 2-way, real-time data collection system, back end communications architecture, and Real-time monitoring system required to power this industrial strength application suite.

To give water management department workers some shiny tools to use, our team wrapped the front end interface in a Flex user interface, and integrated it with the industry leading Geographic mapping server ArcGIS from ESRI.

The result of all this mad science and slick design is a system that allows real-time monitoring and remote control of a city’s water distribution system – conserving money and water for taxpayers. (ps, don’t forget to pay your water bills!)

Wiretree has worked with CoinData to pioneer the DocuPAD, a collaborative digital desktop for the retail automotive market.

Using our skills in highly interactive and intuitive design, the team created a software and hardware system simple enough for a consumer to sit down and feel immediately comfortable using, and engaging enough to result in increased sales of products and services.

The system uses a tablet-based LCD screen, embedded in the tabletop within the car dealership, to present sales presentations and product information. Additionally, through the use of a digital stylus pen, all contracts required to purchase a vehicle are digitally signed and submitted without the need for endless amounts of paper.

DocuPAD is a shared-space interaction scenario where a customer can site on one side and the presenter on the other and both can engage with the system. This has proved to be an amazing tool for both the dealership and it’s customers to make the car buying experience easier and more efficient (not to mention being fun!).

Overview

King Plow Arts Center is amazing live work community of artists, photographers and creative-minded folks located in Atlanta Georgia. This historic location serves as a source of inspiration to all who walk it’s grounds. We crafted the website to reflect the vibe of being there. We gained our design direction from the past relics of old plow equipment hung as artwork on the walls and the worn brick and warehouse windows that make this place extremely unique and inviting.
